All the comforts of home and more!

This spacious, beautifully decorated, impeccably clean house in a quiet neighborhood was our "private resort" for a month and a half. The master suite provided privacy from the rest the house. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and excellent for outdoor dining and lounging. The owner anticipated our needs and was attentive and responsive. It is centrally located. It's a short drive to Sabino Canyon, East Sagharo National Park, Park Place Mall, Reid Park (golf course, swimming pool and zoo), downtown and the Univerity of Arizona, as well as many restaurants. We highly recommend this house.

UMC patients should contract this home!

We had to relocate to Tucson for a medical treatment at UMC. I searched for days on the internet for hotel, motel, condos and homes for our 2 month stay. I was refered to Poet's Retreat by another vacation home owner in the area. The home was perfect, clean and comfortable. We had friends and family coming and going over the our stay. The 3 bedrooms were all well used! If you are not familiar with Tucson, you will be pleasantly surprised at the central location of this home, on a quiet street. Minutes from UMC and UofA, downtown, good restaurants and interesting shopping. We had a lot of fun at the 6th Avenue Street Fair and the Gem Show! Lots of hiking and natural beauty to explore, too. The house is wonderful. Quality is the feeling you will have when you first enter the home. From the interesting decor to the beautiful landscaping. I especially loved lounging in the master bedroom with the patio door open. Gentle breeze, warm sun, great Tucson outdoor living. Finally, it was a pleasure working with Kimberly and Bob August. They were very flexible and compassionate during the contracting and when we were onsite. We intend to stay at Poet's Retreat on our next visit to beautiful Tucson.

Our first impressions of this property were surprise and amazement because it was 100% better than we ever expected. The owners are warm, gracious and helpful. This 1960s era house has been totally remodeled and renovated, and the owners spared no expense in making it outstanding. The gardens are lovely, with various focal areas. The kitchen is so well-equipped that a chef surely designed it. The master bedroom area provides a quiet retreat from the rest of the house. The stunning bathrooms have luxury furnishings. Each day we were surprised with something else we noticed. The owners show a skilled understanding of decorating and comfort, from marvelous window treatments to a chandelier in the utility room! Our little group included retired college teachers and coach, along with their daughter and son-in-law, all Colorado Rockies' fans. This is the last season for the Rockies' spring training in Tucson, so we wanted to be part of the final week. The house was so convenient for all our plans. The son-in-law is a three year survivor of a bone marrow transplant, and the house met his needs perfectly. Anyone would enjoy a visit to this beautiful property.
